- metrics_info_: private variable holding ViewMetricsInfo
- viewMetricsInfo(): accessor function
- updateMetrics(): renamed from metrics(), sets metrics_info_
- update(): change to use updateMetrics()

- redraw(): get the ViewMetricsInfo through accessor to BufferView.
