7a79a416b8 Remove profiling.py 
The hotshot module used there only works for Python 2.

BTW the profiling turned out not be necessary.

As a case in point Python 3.13 is twice as fast as Python 3.6 when using
lyx2lyx. Not only that but Python 3 is almost 10 times faster than using
Python 2 for this particular case.

11be833a2e Execute lyx2lyx unit test when running tests 
Actually lyx2lyx has a tiny unit test. Add it to the autotools test machinery
and fix it: Since nobody knew about it the test was of course broken.

540802f717 Move generally useful routines out of lyx_2_0.py and into modules. We 
keep copying these from one file to another each new release.

0be91e7205 * lib/Makefile.am (dist_pkgdata_DATA): remove configure.py 
(dist_pkgdata_PYTHON): and put it here
	(dist_scripts_DATA): rename to dist_scripts_PYTHON; this invokes
	automake's built-in python support.
	(install-data-hook): adapt to above change.

	* lib/lyx2lyx/Makefile.am (dist_lyx2lyx_DATA): rename to dist_lyx2lyx_PYTHON;
	this invokes automake's built-in python support.
	(install-data-hook): new target: sets executable bit on lyx2lyx.
