2b6abdef36 installer: 
- prepare for the upcoming release
 - use Joost's pdfview program
 - don't always delete the file extension when uninstalling

93f7bc7eb0 installer: - use Inkscape as SVG to PDF converter when it is installed 
- code cleanup to get rid of the two preferences files
 - updates
