This commit adds the mathed command \mathds that selects a
font more appropriate than \mathbb for typesetting the
mathematical symbols for the natural (N), whole numbers (Z),
rational numbers (Q), real numbers (R), complex numbers (C),
and some others.
As in the \mathbb case, only capital letters are supported,
but in addition one can also typeset a symbol often used for
representing the indicator function (\mathds{1}) and the
letters a, h, k.
Fixes bug #11887.
Most of the RtL icons that we provide are simply mirrors of the LtR ones.
Therefore let the code do that by default if no +rtl icon is found.
The only RtL icon left for now is for "layout Enumerate" (notice the
numbers in it).
Also remove useless getPixmap wrapper and several old bidi_xxx icons
that were forgotten in previous patch.
When the cursor in RTL text, icons for "depth-increment" or
"layout-toggle Enumerate" look wrong.
Instead of relying on the clumsy "bidi" lfun of 2898c335, this new
version relies on a new Toobar tag BidiItem that inserts an action
which can have two icons, depending on the direction of the paragraph
containing the caret (or of the direction of the UI when no file is
open).
The alternative icon has the same name as the original one, with a
"+rtl" string appended to the lfun string. The alternative icon is
only active if the file is found. The icon themes `default', `oxygen'
and `classic' have been updated accordingly.
Fixes bug #4451.
When the cursor in RTL text, icons for "depth-increment" or
"layout-toggle Enumerate" look wrong.
To fix this, the lfun "bidi" is introduced. "bidi ltr func" behaves
like "func" in LTR text, but is unknown in RTL text. "bidi rtl" does
the opposite. This allows to add two icons, but only have one icon
available. When no document is available, only LTR is assumed.
To make this work, the handling of unknown functions in toolbar has
been changed so this these functions can change dynamically their
existence.
The icon themes `default', `oxygen' and `classic' have been updated
accordingly.
Fixes bug #4451.
The last 20 applications are saved now and accessible both via the lfun
(textstyle-apply n) and the toolbar (via button menu)
Fixes: #7133
This also changes the default icon and toolbar position of the action,
as requested in #11427
I'm open to putting this elsewhere on the toolbar, or even on a
different toolbar. Also, we need decent icons. These ones are not
intended seriously but were just borrowed for testing purposes.
Anyone have good ideas about icons?
People working on the documentation do probably want to switch this on. It
gives easy access to LyX and LaTeX logos (bug 9626), and the info and menu
separator insets.
This is a follow-up of bug #8967. The implementation is self-explaining, the
only part which needs a comment is lyx2lyx: Since a 100% correct solution is
not possible, it has been decided not to switch amsmath off in the forward
conversion if no other ams command than \smash[t] and \smash[b] is used, but
to consider it a bug that older versions do not load amsmath automatically for
these commands. In the backward direction it is easy to keep the document
compilable, so just do that.
The frame decoration IconPalette contains already \overset etc. and \sideset has the same logic like \over- and \underset. Moreover we should keep the math panel clean and avoid the listing of many very special commands
Somehow I overlooked that \sideset also supports nonscript arguments for
left and right. This is now fixed, although I do not like the toolbar names.
If somebody knows something better, please improve.
The toolbar image is the one Uwe attached to the bug report. Note that
\sideset works only for operators like \sum in the nucleus. LyX allows
any content, so you might get a LaTeX error. I don't know how to prevent
wrong content in the nucleus.
This patch implements 'move row' and 'move column' features for tabular.
The purpose is to provide a useful behavior in tabular that is
consistent with PARAGRAPH_MOVE_UP and PARAGRAPH_MOVE_DOWN so that the
user can, for example, do alt-<up> to move a row up. Alternatively,
icons for these features are also added to the table toolbar and
context menu.
If there is any selection, the feature is disabled. This is consistent
with how PARAGRAPH_MOVE_UP works in other contexts. Additionally, 'move
row' is disabled if there is a multi-row in the current or target row;
and 'move column' is disabled if there is a multi-column in the current
or target column.
'move row' moves only the left and right borders of a cell along with
the row. Similarly, 'move column' moves only the the top and bottom
borders.
Implementing similar functionality for other insets, such as arrays and
array environments, is on my TODO list.
The fix is basically mechanical, the additional code for fraction like insets
with three arguments was stolen from \unitfrac. As any math package,
stackrel.sty needs a buffer parameter to switch it off.
I also added the two stackrel flavours to the toolbar.
Apart from that it implies a tab width of 4, which is not used by everybody.
The other commands should probably be fixed as well, but I do not touch foreign code.
