images: big update by Koji: now all images can be used and a LyX file which and appear there correctly in the output

This fixes our documentation file when they are viewed as DVI.
Fixes #5945 .
Please test converting the Tutorial to DVI and the math toolbar buttons on all platforms.

Removed a 1 pixel border around some images. In this way they are

rendered much better on screen as they are not blurred.
