36dbec4506 * Lazy MathData to avoid unneeded interpretation of macro definitions 
* DocIterator as MacroPosition
* Iterative search for macro in scope until a visible one is found.
This include the ability to resolve macro inside nested text insets.
* Speed up macro lookups by factor 2: only getMacro(name) call, no
further hasMacro(name) call before
* Both way child/master support
* Correct macro scope for multi-paragraph environments
* Correct macro scope for multi-depth-paragraphs
* Buffer::updateMacros made const
* Update macros when loaded (of master and child)
* Do not remove too many braces when unfolding a macro. This could
lead to a data loss because the relationship between arguments of
macros can be mixed up if nested macros are unfold at once.
* Reduce dependencies to MetricsInfo in MathMacro   
* Update macros when needed. Normally it's done just before doing
metrics. But in cases without a brace around some constructs (like
\left(bla\right)) there is some help needed.

efbd1d30cb Sanitize the way we use abort() and exit(). With this commit, we should never crash in release mode, even when assertions are enabled. In debug mode, we crash with abort in order to get a useful backtrace.

d1574fec83 The rename() function removed in rev had in fact move() functionality. So we replace all uses of renameTo() with the new FileName::moveTo() method.

* LyXFunc: Transfer and simplify LFUN_BUFFER_WRITE, LFUN_BUFFER_WRITE_AS  and LFUN_BUFFER_WRITE_ALL to GuiView.

* BufferList: Transfer quitWriteAll() and close() to GuiView.

* Buffer: Transfer writeAs() and menuWrite() functionalities to GuiView.

0743f576cb * BufferView: 
- dispatch(): transfer LFUN_FILE_INSERT_PLAINTEXT_* to GuiView::dispatch()
- insertPlaintextFile(): split in BufferView::insertPlaintextFile() and GuiView::insertPlaintextFile()

This patch get rid of FileDialog use in BufferView. Remains Buffer, Converters and LyXFunc.

64b276b6fc Force latin-only InsetCollapsables into LTR environment if surroundings are RTL. 
This fixes, for example, the URL inset, which used to be  included here 
explicitly when it was a standalone inset.

c51f1cffaa * InsetCollapsable: 
- InsetCollapsable(): Move labelfont initialisation to InsetCollapsable::setLayout().
- read(): reset the inset layout.

All other insets: get rid of redundant setLayout() calls.

This commit fixes the multiple crashes in trunk but the color used for text and background are completely wrong...

0a7567ce3b - add entry to FORMATS file for Stefan's format change (Richards to 296 change is still not correctly listed) 
- add support for hyerlink targets - fileformat changed
  (For Hyperlink.cpp I still need help to get rid of the strings and chars and use docstrings and char_type instead!)

Can anyone please open the changed Hyperlink.ui with a Qt 4.2 designer or below, save it and commit? Thanks. (Otherwise you cannot compile it.)

5ddc612b73 Splitup Font in saner bits: 
* Font::FontBits -> FontInfo
* Font::FONT_XXX -> all enums transfered to FontEnums.h and renamed to FontXxx

I've replaced Font uses with FontInfo were the language() member was not needed, basically all draw() and metrics methods. There's one problematic cases with InsetQuotes which I solved by taking the Buffer main language.

07b6198f4c Move the findInfo() and defaultCommand() routines out of InsetCommand and into its subclasses, so that the subclasses know what parameters they want, etc. Also, introduce an "isCompatibleCommand()" routine, so the subclasses can tell us which commands they are prepared to accept.

662b58497e Getting rid of LTR bias --- part 1/? 
This is the first patch in a series meant to remove LTR bias from the code.
Currently, there are many places in the code where "right" and "left" are used,
but where we actually mean "forward" and "backwards" --- which is the same 
thing in LTR text, but not in RTL/Bidi text.

55beda376a Refactor Undo/Redo framework into an Undo class owned by a Buffer. This reduces header dependencies from Undo.h which was including lots of stuff previously. This also solves the bug where undo/redo were reset upon buffer switching. Now, each buffer has a truly independant undo/redo architecture. 
In the future, when Cursor has been fixed to work correctly with multiple views of the same Buffer, we could transfer the Undo owner from Buffer to Cursor.

0787ade6c0 This is the first part of a cleanup of how we handle the InsetCommand hierarchy. This part starts to disentangle the type of the inset from the command that a single instance of the inset represents. This involves two sorts of changes: 
(i) The file format is changed, so that command insets are represented as:
    \begin_inset CommandInset insetype
    LatexCommand command
    ...
    \end_inset
This involves some lyx2lyx and changes to the readInset() routine in factory.cpp
(ii) The InsetCommand and InsetCommandParams classes also have to be changed, as the command name was used in these classes for various purposes for which the inset type ought really to be used.
Further clean-up to come.

4c82dd1fc8 Inset coords shall not be recorded in Inset::draw() because this can create problems with inheritance (which often modify the coords but not the Inset pointer itself). Right now there three kind of inset containers: paragraphs, tables and math arrays. The coords caching is fixed in the first two.

74acf6b528 Cleanup the TEXT_TO_INSET_OFFSET mess. This correction is done now once in InsetText. Various other cleanup resulting from this change. - implement edit function that opens the inset's dialog.
* src/BufferView.cpp (doDispatch):
	- call inset->edit (i.e. open dialog) for EDITABLE insets on next-inset-toggle (bug 2907)

17112f655d Helge's wrapfig patch: 
- Format incremented to 284
- LaTeX-package wrapfig is now used instead of flotflt for wrap floats (this allows us to implement now also a table wrap float)

(the optional overhang argument of wrapfig will be implemented later)

c3e3534148 * TextMetrics::draw(): withdraw first row ascent before drawing because the convention is that the baseline of a multirow text is the baseline of the first row. 
All other files: adapt to above change.

eed6514dd0 Move selection painting closer to row painting. Single row painting is now possible for selection. 
* Row:
- setSelection(): set selection begin and end for this row.
- sel_beg, sel_end: new public members.

* BufferView::draw()
- do not trigger a full repaint for selection.
- use TextMetrics::draw() instead of hand calling TextMetrics::drawParagraph().

* InsetText::draw(): don't call TextMetrics::drawSelection().

* InsetMathMBox::drawSelection(): remove.

* TextMetrics:
- drawSelection(): simplify a bit. Now private.
- redoParagraph(): memorize Row selection status.
- x2pos(): fix crash when selecting with PageDown.
- draw(): fill-in the ParPos cache before everything else and not in drawParagraph().
- drawParagraph(): take care of row selection painting.
