d95aaa0e5b Move reloadBuffer from GuiView to Buffer. 
This fixes bug #6314: reloading master document makes emergencies of modified children.

Now also the version control handling could be moved to Buffer as well, and the hack in ensureBufferClean is removed.

570f96bc6e Add a boolean to GuiWorkArea::redraw to indicate whether the metrics must be updated. The current test "lyx_view_ != guiApp->currentView() || lyx_view_->currentWorkArea() != this" is not enough, especially not if the buffer is changed and buffer->changed() is called. Moreover, there are a lot of combinations of updateMetrics() followed by buffer->changed(), these can now be replaced by one call to buffer->changed(bool).

3f1c690723 Prevent display of meaningless internal buffer title(s) to the user

78874e5f27 When zooming in/out with [Ctrl] + [Mouse Wheel], document WA's font is immediately updated, but if the Advanced F&R dialog is shown, its own WAs' font (find WA and replace WA) is not immediately updated, but delayed until the next editing action. 
This commit fixes such behaviour, and performs the update immediately.

5cc2d6d73c Advanced F&R rework: 
- scopes now handled in FindAndReplaceWidget, while lyxfind.cpp only searches within single buffer
- cursor().result().dispatched() now encodes whether a match was found or not, after LFUN_WORD_FINDADV dispatch
- removed a few unneeded functions
- followed a few cosmetic advices

c8dd86534d Update the GuiInfo dialog also when the document is read-only. A dialog that does not dispatch a single LFUN (see getLfun()) but is buffer dependent (see isBufferDependent()) should implement the canApply function (if I'm correct).

45b0c6be47 Fix the threaded preview and reenable it. 
Buffer::Impl::inset was set in the ctor Buffer::Impl::Impl to be a clone. However, in the Buffer::Buffer ctor the inset was set again, now to a new and empty InsetText.

4ed0169064 Detach Buffer preview and update preview in a new thread. Only for Qt4.4 users. This new feature can be disabled by setting EXPORT_in_THREAD to 0 in GuiView.cpp. 
Two things are missing (but are fixable):
- the lack of feedback of the background latex compilation
- the error list is not shown in case of compilation error.

* Buffer:
- create a "cloned buffer" type.
- Transfer LFUN_MASTER_BUFFER_UPDATE, LFUN_MASTER_BUFFER_VIEW, LFUN_BUFFER_UPDATE and LFUN_BUFFER_VIEW to GuiView. This is good itself as these LFUN are GUI oriented.

* GuiView: detach the above LFUNs to a new thread as was already done for autosave.

622e3b1e4d For Qt4.4 and up: Detach Buffer autosave into a new thread. 
* Buffer: new clone() method. When this new autosave method is used the old autoSave() is not of course.

* GuiView: clone the current document buffer and save it in a new thread.

e4a483da32 Enable "silent rules" with automake 1.11. This leads to much nicer compilation 
output. The build should still work with older automake versions.

The po/ directory does not have the nice rules, because I do not want to 
modify Makefile.in.in therein.

f1dd63ec24 Fixes for the FileFormat pane of GuiPrefs.cpp: 
- We have to block the signals coming from viewerCO and editorCO, otherwise the signal handlers will clear the customly set viewer or editor.

- A copy-paste error made the custom viewer to be changed when changing the editor combobox.

d5099c8605 - introduce option to suppress the LaTeX package mhchem, fileformat change 
The fileformat change is also needed because of our mistake that we load mhchem since LyX 1.6.4 automatically so that files created with LyX 1.6.4 won't compile under LyX 1.6.3. Now at least all files created or opened with LyX 1.7 can be reverted to the fileformat of LyX 1.6.x and can therefore be read by all LyX 1.6.x versions.

973b0e25fb Redo the viewer_alternatives and editor_alternatives in terms of a map, 
rather than a vector. This helps deal with problems involving multiple
specifications of a single command. (Even after the previous commit, 
we were still getting duplicates in the UI after every alteration of 
the preferences.) It's also more natural, anyway.

93998bb239 * Move Buffer specific LFUNs to Buffer::dispatch() and Buffer::getStatus(). 
There is a FIXME in there that says that if some LFUN need to be dispatched even if the Buffer is internal then we should add some code. But I couldn't find any for now.

0dc39929a4 It appears that somewhere along the way, backing up originals when saving 
got conflated with autosaving, with the result that it became impossible to
disable autosaving, as reported on the user list. This patch disentangles 
the two again.

57f1c58598 Added at the LyXView level distinction among currently selected WorkArea (and BufferView) and document WorkArea (and BufferView). 
Fixes crash when opening both Toc Panel and Advanced Find and Replace Panel.
Fixes preview of document (as opposed of previewing the search/replace text) while search/replace WorkArea selected.

b45f8b96a6 File->Close All now really closes all buffers. That is, all visible buffers in all views and all hidden buffers.

66dd3db8bc Fix bug #6162: Crash after close window with master/child. 
The previous fix was nonsense. It appeared to be a shameful copy-paste error. GuiView::disconnectBufferView() was exactly the same as GuiView::disconnectBuffer().
