864773d7d9 Allow literate documents other than noweb to work out of the box. Currently 
only sweave is supported (for building documentation, not programs).

Layout files allow a new OutputFormat tag 

Modules can be conditionned on a feature of the type from->to, indicating that
it should be possible to convert from format 'from' to format 'to'.

Layout format incremented to 15.

852dfe3869 Fix writing of \bibtex_alternatives and \index_alternatives to the 
preferences file. Now the alternatives are only written if they have
actually been changed, and not always as it was before. Existing
preferences files will be automatically trimmed on next save.

70351330a0 Another tweak to account for when both paths end with '/'. 
The problem here is making sure that path_prefix_is() behaves exactly
as would a case insensitive prefixIs(). Anyway, this is still better
than trying to fix the semantics of common_path().

18cfe15b64 file format change due to r29770. 
No automatic width calculation is done for old documents, because these might rely on settings in
nomencl.cfg.

A GUI to alter this is needed.

9173fe2c5e Fix bug #5944: Scrolling isn't predictable. 
The row in editXY is corrected when we're scrolling with PgUp and PgDwn to make sure that the row where the cursor is places, is completely in the view.

0cb87c6bc4 When the clipboard contains a tabular selection, dirty_tabular_stack_ is true. However, it is set to false when the user clears a selection (without copying). After this (mostly accidental) action, pasting the tabular contents goes wrong. 
So, we only clear the dirty_tabular_stack_ flag when a 'real' copy to clipboard has been made.

22e8bd3c3e Partial fix for bug #5465. This will enable scrolling down past a very large inset. With this code, LyX will scroll up everytime you try to scroll past the inset, because the cursor is set on the uppermost row.

a52cac0476 Fix part 2 of bug #5758: Crash when closing the dosbox from which LyX was started. 
A problem occurs when we write the ConverterCache index file. This action is instantiated in the destructor of the 'static ConverterCache' object. The use of QFileInfo at that point leads to a crash.

It is maybe not a good idea at all to put part of the functionality in a destructor, especially not when we do not delete the object ourselves and when this functionality uses external libraries etc.

99dc01f79b Fix bug #5458 (try 2): File reopens at LyX-start even though it was closed in previous session. 
We should of course clear the list before closing each of the views. Otherwise, the second view will remove the files from the first view from the list.

af39d35545 Adjust the location of the autosave file for unnamed docs. 
If the document is unnamed try to save in the backup dir, else in the default document path, and as a last try in the filePath, which will most often be the temporary directory.

61e32e1c25 Fix some toc ui glitches: 
- revert r26360, because this causes irritating flickering, and reset the slider in updateView instead,

- disable also the sort checkbox and the slider when the list and combobox are disabled,

- disable the keep checkbox when the type is not navigatable, as it doesn't make sense to keep something that won't change.

b0936fac4c When performing a reverse DVI search and the tmpdir is a symlink, the 
DVI viewer passes back the resolved path, such that the search fails,
as internally LyX uses the unresolved path.
This patch fixes this bug by using the new method FileName::realPath
which resolves a path by getting rid of any '.', '..', or symlink
path components.

ea54380e13 Initial support for continuous spell-checking. This is far from working perfectly. I reused the word completion framework to achieve this. This doesn't seem to have sensible effect over edition speed. 
You'll need to check the continuous spellcheck option in order to test this.

0a99e817f1 Fix bug #5912: http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/5912 
The problem was that \" was forgotten in the list of accents to check
in unicodesymbols (because it used to have its own german-centric derogatory
handling).

I took the Comprehensive LaTeX Symbols List (table 6) and added all the
missing accents.

8d0fcad676 Speedup the expandLabel by avoiding the recursive part. The labelstrings 
are computed recursively to get rid of any \thexxx string by the method
flattenLabelString. The values are cached in Counter objects.

On my mac, the total time (updatelabels+redraw) goes down by 30%. YMMV.

605f6bebf2 Implement a warning dialog with a "Do not show this warning again!" checkbox. 
Since Qt does not provide this, we have to roll our own dialog.
Hidden warnings are stored in sessions.

The dialog is currently only used in the case where an included file
has a different textclass then the master (bug 3218).

26b361417d * Properly separate the specific Japanese (i.e., pLaTeX) auxiliary programs (jbibtex, mendex) 
from the standard LaTeX programs.
  These programs are only used now if the document actually uses Japanese, not always if they are found.
  (bug 5601 a.o.).
