6b5c9696b6 Remove LYX_LAYOUT_DEFAULT - it is very very old, even klyx doesn't use it.

6c12adeebe Finish the re-indroduction of the show_banner flag. It is 'true' by 
default now and not changable from the UI, but a \show_banner "false" in
the .lyx/preferences gets honored.

7c98b3bd37 spellchecker cleanup - fscked knows why pspell is broken, I am TOTALLY 
baffled by that one.

Various other cleanups, including a fixed version of lyxlex that doesn't
destroy the preamble ...

9c1a896972 There is now a \preview lyxrc variable defaulting to 'false'. 
Would be nice if someone would make this available in the preferences
dialog.

And this incorporates Herberts' patch to use pdfLaTeX which means
we are approaching TeXMacs ballpark of sluggishness...

514156adbb * Split the graphics loader into a frontend and a backend. 
* Add frontend code to generate and display the pixmap to InsetGraphics.
* Add (much simpler) frontend code to the LyXScreen to show the splash screen
once more.

1eba5295d8 Losts of fixes to cursor handling with insets. Cursor up/down now can 
transverse also inset if they are on it's way, Page up/down for InsetText
fixed (cleanly now as I finally understood the algorithm ;) This fixes some
non reported bugs, some in Michaels list, some reported on the mailing
list and #314 on our buglist.
