This accesses the inulemcmd output param which protects specific commands
(\cite, \ref) in an \mbox.
This is needed in ulem and soul commands, since their complex
detokenization makes such commands (who produce multiple words via local
assignment) fail.
So now it is possible to properly support ulem and soul via
[inset]layout

Now there is the opposite case which needs to be addressed:
If no translation is available for a shortcut in a non-latin-scripted

Commit [3366c49f/lyxgit] intended to strip braces only for minted
but was actually stripping them also for listings. As the braces
are necessary for the listings package, reintroduce them.
This is a master-only issue.
When several lines of text are in the same variable-width tabular
cell, it is not possible to align properly the rows until the cell
width is known.
Therefore a parameter is added to redoParagraph to skip this
computation, so that it can be done later in TextMetrics::metrics.
Other calls to redoParagraph in the code are not affected. It is not
clear at this point whether they may create artefacts.
computeRowMetrics has been renamed to setRowAlignment to better
reflect its use.
Fixes bug #11447.
In computing the length of the extension, the code does not account
for the prefix "unzipped_", which is added when the zipped filename
does not have one of the extensions "gz", "z", "Z", or "svgz", and
thus the used index is out of bounds. See also this thread:
https://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-devel@lists.lyx.org/msg207360.html
This adds a new (boolean) parameter "active" to the label cache, where
we track whether a label is deleted in ct mode (the same could be done,
if wanted, for labels in notes and inactive branches).
Deleted (inactive) labels are neither considered in the uniqueness check
nor added to the outliner. This also means that undeleted references to
deleted labels are now (correctly) marked as BROKEN.
Fixes: #6563
This is not possible for '$', because of the latex-meaning to
start/end math inset.
Therefore, if not ignoring format, we still have to use
[\\][\$] in regex in order to find '$' in text.
The boost signal was sent synchronously, and so made the Qt signal to be posted
in FileMonitor::changed after the boost signal returned, so after the sender was
possibly destroyed.
The solution is to make the boost signal asynchronous using the Qt event loop.
Thanks to Scott Kostyshak for the report and MWE.
When deciding how to strike out deleted math in change-tracking
mode, differentiate only on begin-of-line or not, and not on
after-paragraph-break or not.
The assumption that a new paragraph is always started after a
float seems to be not true and was causing this bug.
Avoid as much as possible to do full copies of all counters, since
that can be expensive. Unfortunately, it is only posible when we want
to restore the saved counters.
An earlier version (05d3a649) defined swap() for Counter, but caused
problems on windows.
Part of bug #5973.
The enum is now made of flags that can be combined.
This introduces several new values for Inset::DisplayType:
BreakBefore, BreakAfter and Display=BreakBefore|BreakAfter. This
last value replaces AlignCenter.
Additionally the flags NoBoundary and CanBreakAfter are introduced for
future use.
Now a left aligned displayed inset will be defined as Display|LeftAlign.
A newline inset is characterized as BreakAfter.
This structure is used in breakRow to avoid explicit calls to
isNewline() or isEnvSeparator(). More improvements will be built on
top of this.
Additionally several redundant display() methods (which returned
Inline) have been removed.
The problem with the previous attempt was that, every time through
updateBuffer, we looked up the file location using kpsewhich, which
took too long on Windows. The new solution is to cache that info, and
to look it up only when we need it.
Previously, this info would have been re-read whenever we parsed the
bibfiles. So we re-read it now whenever the bibinfo cache is invalid,
which is less often, but should be good enough. We can add more such
re-reads if need be.

File format change, layout format change
This returns a localized version of a string (in the GUI language)
if available, removing trailing colons and accelerator marks.
This can be used to refer to dialog items in the docs in a portable way.
QKeySequence returns special characters for keys on the mac rather than
textual key names (as on other OSes).
Since these symbols are not included in many fonts, we re-translate them
to textual names

When searching for and item in the menu, also try to consider those that
require a BufferView (such as View/Update formats).
Also, be explicit for the default format in order to find it.
Fixes: #9851
This is a low hanging fruit, since it's already available (although
quite hidden)
Generally, output "not set" i a pref is not set rather than an empty
string.
With this commit, info insets leave the dark backstage room of an opaque
and quite hidden dev-only feature and come frontstage.
In the UI, they present themselves as "Fields" since this is what people
know from word processors. Other user-related fields that could be
implemented next: time, user name (I plan to do that for 2.4).
Since this supersedes date-insert, I removed Insert > Date from
the menu and propose to ditch date-insert and the corresponding rc.
The lyx2lyx reversion routine has lots of room for improvement and
attractive tasks for pythons (file timestamp, switch of localization).
Please feel invited!
This is a file format change.

Width is now 3 for top/bottomrule, 2 for midrule and 1 for cmidrule.
These numbers are bogus of course, but the goal is to help the user
see what he is doing.
It is a general problem when doing graphics to know where a line
begins and where it ends pixel-wise. At the instigation of Scott, and
with the use of the kmag magnifier, this commit corrects 3 areas:
* foreign marks were larger than the row element they were supposed to
mark. This could lead to moving lines, depending on paint ordering.
* visible spaces were drawn outside of their box (select a single
space to see this).
* the `L' blinking caret would leave a cursor dropping because the
horizontal part was too wide.
Minted does not have a language option but it is possible to enter
this option in the LyX interface for compatibility with the listings
package, and also for letting to enter a language not present in the
gui. So, this option is only used for properly specifying a language
in a listing, unless it is entered in the document settings dialog.
This case was not foreseen and thus the option was being passed to
the package as is, causing havoc. With this commit the option is
still available but is used to set a default language for a new
listing in place of the default "tex" language used so far.
This is not perfect, since variable width columns will break at a certain
treshold, but it is better than what we have now (no tabular width
indication at all)
This effectively enables linebreaks, multipars and layout changes in
non-fixed width (i.e., standard) table columns.
Fixes: #6577
TODO: metrics are wrong (too wide) on screen with linebreaks.
When a raster image with an advertised pixel density different
from 72 dpi is included in a latex file, the output image dimensions
are scaled by the ratio 72/pixel_density. Hence, if a clipping
bounding box is specified, it has to be scaled by the same ratio,
otherwise the images will be clipped differently on screen and output.
Here we use the extractbb command (present in any TeX distribution)
to ask about the output dimensions of the image as dictated by the
pixel density and compute the scaling ratio by the knowledge of the
actual dimensions. If, for whatever reason, extractbb is not found,
everything goes as before, because the clipping bounding box will
simply not be corrected.
The reordering of the code was incorrect. The code calling Change::paintCue()
has to come last, since it depends on the change_drawn value.
Spotted by coverity.
It is now possible in the float settings (doc dialog) to specify a global
(inner) alignment for floats, and in the float settings, this can be
overridden (just as with float placement)
Fixes: #8665
File format change.
We \cprotect them in fragile context. This allows \input, \include as
well as \verbatiminput and \lstinputlisting in sections etc.
They still don't work in titling (#2528)
Following a request by Günter, we consider the document fonts (only rm
for now) when selecting an appropriate font encoding.
See #9741
The new default font encoding setting "auto" does
* consider the font encoding needed by the language(s), which can now
have fallback alternatives
* Consider which font encoding is provided by the document font
Thus, cm now will result in OT1 fontenc, if the language can deal with
that.
The font_enc pref is ditched: it is no longer needed.
The automatism is still very basic and is subject to extension.
File format and prefs format change.
This change also applies to Comment insets. For example, Greyedout
and comment insets can now be inserted in section titles.
The usage of these insets in commands relies on the newly
implemented cprotect feature. The usage of these insets in
description items already worked fine (without cprotect).
This commit also enables modification of these insets (e.g.,
converting a LyX note to a Greyedout note) in commands.
This commit is related to #6969.
The problem was that, if we killed export when some graphic was
being converted, or some external template was being handled, it
would only cancel that process, and then it would just continue.
To deal with that, we need to do a few things:
1. Modify the return values for some of the Converters routines,
and similarly the routines for external templates, so we can
tell when something has been canceled.
2. Throw an exception from InsetGraphics or InsetExternal when this
has happened during export, but ONLY when the Buffer is a clone.
We shouldn't be able to 'cancel' export when we're, say, generating
code for the preview pane, but this keeps us on the safe side..
The exception then has to be caught, obviously, back in the export
routines in Buffer.
Probably Coverity will be unhappy about something here, but I'll
deal with that problem as it arises.
This allows (some) verbatim contents in macros, such as \url's with
specific chars (#, % etc.) in section headings or footnotes (#449)
or comments in captions (#9313).
The mentioned two bugs are fixed by this commit.
Note that the implementation is still rather basic and might need
extension for other cases.
This requires moving the bool that tracks this somewhere that it
is visible from BufferView. It seemed to make sense to put it as
a static member of InsetCitation.
This is currently only relevant fo InsetListings, which falls back to
a fixed-width encoding under specific conditions. It is now possible
to query the inset about that and report the correct encoding in
DocIterator::getEncoding.
Addresses the second part of #10995
A basic class like Length should not depend on something from
frontend.
This change allows to remove several dummy implementations of
theFontMetrics().
VCS InsetInfos were broken by the switch at 2e934fc5f8 to using
updateBuffer to handle them. But we do not really want to go through
that routine in a clone, not for those insets, whose contents we
want to be the same as in the original Buffer.
Also fixes some issues noted in discussion of this bug: Failure to
update after context menu switch; failure to re-calculate shortcuts,
which can change.
These classes come with their own working implementation of table
footnotes, so we are not supposed to use the tablefootnote or
footnote package.
Also add missing outliner name.
By default, inactive math corners are invisible. In practice they are
annoying because they are visible when selecting text, and they can
also overwrite some parts of the equation.
The code in Inset::drawMarkers2, which is only used for maths, is
moved to InsetMathHull. Moreover, the inactive corners are not drawn
when they have the same color as the math background. A better way to
achieve this would be to set the color to transparent, but we do not
support this yet.
Now the helper class contains logic that checks whether buffer are
known before closing them. This avoids potential crashes.
Use it in different places to siplify code. It is not clear at this
point whether it should be used everywhere.
Followup to bug #10847.
Along the lines suggested by JMarc, we now collect the list of bibfiles
in use in the updateBuffer routines. This actually does simplify the code
quite a bit. See the discussion there for reasons to go this way.
Basically, everything that does not depend on a BufferView should move
there. Some methods that do not seem to need a BufferView, like
selHandle or IdxFirst or push actually depend on it and could not be
moved.
This allows to simplify a few uses of recordUndo helpers.
- Move some methods to DocIterator: nextMath, prevMath, getPossibleLabel,
getEncoding;
- Move some methods to CursorData: setCursor, setCursorSelectionTo,
(setCursorTo|normal|reset)Anchor, (set|clear)Selection,
sel(|ection)(Begin|End), selectionAsString, info, currentState,
(mark|clear|check)NewWordPosition, fixIfBroken, sanitize, all undo
related methods, reset, isInside, leaveInset, current mode;
- kill some unused methods: macromode, replaceWord, setScreenPos, touch,
markInsert, markErase;
- Move code around to group things, and add a few comments (a lot remains to be done).
This changes lead to some related changes in other classes: removal,
change of parameter.
No intended change.
Spaces are, amazingly, allowed at the end of bibliography keys. So we
introduce a new parameter allowing getVectorFromString not to trim
whitespace, and then use it.
Scanning is rather slow, so this improves performance in specific
situations (multiple inclusion of larger files in master/child or
chapterbib context)
The current spelling is not strictly wrong, but flagged as unusual or
historical by some authorities. It is also found fault with many
spell checkers. Thus we decided to move to the more standard "-ible"

This part covers the most tricky part: the internal naming.
Translations and layouts will follow.
This will all also all be backported to 2.3.x, for the sake of backwards
compatibility (cherry-picking).

in updateBuffer().
This is in response to a reported crash. See
https://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-devel@lists.lyx.org/msg202217.html
Commit af381a2f addressed the crash, and is worth doing anyway. But
this also makes sense.
Also adds a flag to tell us whether we need to recalculate the
relevant information. In some cases, there is no need to do so
more than once. (Note that, with the existing code, we *never*
recalculate, which would have given rise to bugs.)
The previous redirection of the senseless option "bb" to "viewport" in
PDFLaTeX output has been removed in a recent graphics package update.
This breaks documents, since clipped graphics silently stop displaying.
This change restores the previous output by using "viewport" instaed of
"bb" for non-PS/DVI output, while leaving PS/DVI untouched (where "bb"
and "viewport" behave differently.
Fixes: #7910
This fixes the display of closed ERTs, Indexes etc. when they contain
special chars, logos or quotation marks.
(Since quotation marks in ERTs are now insets, not chars anymore,
this also fixes a bug/regression of the display of babel shortcuts
such as "= in closed ERTs; hence I consider this fix necessary for 2.3.x)
This commit does a bulk fix of incorrect annotations (comments) at the
end of namespaces.
The commit was generated by initially running clang-format, and then
from the diff of the result extracting the hunks corresponding to
fixes of namespace comments. The changes being applied and all the
results have been manually reviewed. The source code successfully
builds on macOS.
Further details on the steps below, in case they're of interest to
someone else in the future.
1. Checkout a fresh and up to date version of src/
git pull && git checkout -- src && git status src
2. Ensure there's a suitable .clang-format in place, i.e. with options
to fix the comment at the end of namespaces, including:
FixNamespaceComments: true
SpacesBeforeTrailingComments: 1
and that clang-format is >= 5.0.0, by doing e.g.:
clang-format -dump-config | grep Comments:
clang-format --version
3. Apply clang-format to the source:
clang-format -i $(find src -name "*.cpp" -or -name "*.h")
4. Create and filter out hunks related to fixing the namespace
git diff -U0 src > tmp.patch
grepdiff '^} // namespace' --output-matching=hunk tmp.patch > fix_namespace.patch
5. Filter out hunks corresponding to simple fixes into to a separate patch:
pcregrep -M -e '^diff[^\n]+\nindex[^\n]+\n--- [^\n]+\n\+\+\+ [^\n]+\n' \
-e '^@@ -[0-9]+ \+[0-9]+ @@[^\n]*\n-\}[^\n]*\n\+\}[^\n]*\n' \
fix_namespace.patch > fix_namespace_simple.patch
6. Manually review the simple patch and then apply it, after first
restoring the source.
git checkout -- src
patch -p1 < fix_namespace_simple.path
7. Manually review the (simple) changes and then stage the changes
git diff src
git add src
8. Again apply clang-format and filter out hunks related to any
remaining fixes to the namespace, this time filter with more
context. There will be fewer hunks as all the simple cases have
already been handled:
clang-format -i $(find src -name "*.cpp" -or -name "*.h")
git diff src > tmp.patch
grepdiff '^} // namespace' --output-matching=hunk tmp.patch > fix_namespace2.patch
9. Manually review/edit the resulting patch file to remove hunks for files
which need to be dealt with manually, noting the file names and
line numbers. Then restore files to as before applying clang-format
and apply the patch:
git checkout src
patch -p1 < fix_namespace2.patch
10. Manually fix the files noted in the previous step. Stage files,
review changes and commit.
This is a fixup to fc7fb6a564. The fix in there seems perfectly
correct (up to now), but for some reason, I could not refrain from
making InsetInfo not active. "What could possibly go wrong?", I heard
myself think.
Now I know: this causes an assertion error in InsetText::updateBuffer
because DocIterator::forwardPos does not enter the inset anymore.
This is a fixup to the series of commits 522516d9, d0acc3e5, 13c3c148.
Actually the right thing to consider in all situations is isActive(),
which really means `can a cursor be in there?'.
Improve the description of isActive() and editable() in Inset.h.
Set isActive() to false for InsetInfo, since no cursor should ever go there.
Again part of #10667.
The code in InsetLabel::updateReferences code changes reference insets
in potentially several buffers. When recording undo, it is important
to use the right undo stack, otherwise crashes can ensue.
Once it is done, it is neccessary to create undo groups as needed.
This is done using UndoGroupHelper. This demonstrates a shortcoming of
UndoGroup helper: if a buffer is encountered in two seperate
occasions, two undo groups will be created for this buffer. This is
not correct.
Fixes bug #10643.
Pygments versions prior to 2.0 only accept lower case names for lexers.
This commit makes sure to always use lower case names for the language
that is written in the LaTeX file, while retaining the proper casing
for the presentation in the GUI, which is dictated by compatibility
with the listings package. Moreover, if one switches from listings
to minted in a document, the language combo is properly updated even
if the used language had attached a dialect (a concept not shared by
minted), or even when importing a LaTeX document with tex2lyx.
This removes the use of rectText in RenderButton. The fact that this
gave different spacing than buttonText was a problem.
Now buttonText requires to specify
* the offset, so that INSET_TO_TEXT_OFFSET is not used anymore in
src/frontends/, which will be useful later.
* the background and frame color, in replacement for the hover state.
Remove the methods button() and buttonFrame() from GuiPainter.
Remove some unused header files.
Fixes bug #10704.
The test added at 359aef92 was incorrect. Actually, Inset::editXY
returns the inset when it is edited and also when it is not, which
can be confusing. So if we are unlucky and the slices positions in the
text area and in the inner inset match, the code below triggers and
many bad things can happen.
Also improve the documentation of Inset::editXY and TextMetrics::editXY.
Fixes#10691.
Starting at 61b2bd5e, boost::bind was progressively replaced with
std::bind. They are not interchangeable though. boost::bind implements
the tracking of boost::signals{,2}::trackable objects. Now that
std::bind has completely replaced boost::bind, tracking never occurred.
This commit replaces boost::signals2::trackable with the new preferred
boost::signals2 methods: scoped_connections or slot::track_foreign. The
support::Trackable class introduced is less safe but easier for transitioning
old code.
Fixes the crash at #8261.
- Remove "chapter" and "section" as this are to be passed as class
options and are otherwise not recognized.
- Let onoff=false for all TRUEFALSE parameters, otherwise only the
form option=true is accepted and option=false does not validate,
generating a lot of confusion.
Minted provides for captions only with floating listings. However,
listings always allows captions, and our machinery is geared accordingly.
So, instead of discriminating the floating and non-floating cases,
always allow for captions with minted, too. When minted does not provide
for a caption, we will provide one.
In the child document case the caption will always be before the listing,
while for the inset case the caption will be before the listing if it
is entered as the first line, after the listing otherwise.
This is a follow-up to e194c9ce. There was actually no reason to let
InsetCollapsable and InsetText draw their own background. It is more
correct to remove the existing code and let the generic
Inset::drawBackground take command.
This allows to revert d207e85c.
Fixes bug #10587.

Fixes bug #10587.
Update the listings inset to optionally use the minted package
(instead of the listings one) for typesetting code listings.
Only one of the two packages can be used in a document, but it
is possible to switch packages without issues if the used options
are the same. If a switch is made and the options differ, one needs
to manually adjust them if they were entered in the advanced options
tab, or apply again the gui settings.
Note that minted requires the -shell-escape option for the latex
backend and the installation of additional software (python pygments).
When inserting a column in tabular, the border of the new column
should be copied from the border of the (previously) right-most
column.
Also remove a redundant line. The line
setRightLine(i, true);
was only reached if rightLine(i) was true.
Patch from Daniel Ramöller.
The RenderButton object now has a inherit_font_ property. It is set
depending on the value of Inset::inheritFont().
This is a better fix than 55533804, which caused bugs #10682 and #10677.
Fixes bug #10258
Do not take the optional arguments from the first paragraph, but from the
paragraphs whose layout have no arguments, consistently with the code in
InsetArgument::updateBuffer (i.e. what was shown on screen).
This is done by two things:
1/ the equation returns LefAlign as display() value
2/ Inset::indent() return a value (in general 0) that should be added
on the left (or right in rtl) of the inset when it is flushed.
The code that uses these values is in TextMetrics::computeRowMetrics.
New special character to mark an optional line break
without inserting a hyphen (ZWSP). See #10585.
Corresponds to the Unicode character U+200B ZERO WIDTH SPACE
This isn't a “space”. It is an invisible character that can be used
to provide line break opportunities.
http://unicode.org/notes/tn27/
While the literal Unicode character can be used in the LyX
file, it is invisible in the GUI.
For visible feedback, the patch adds a new special character "allowbreak".
The small mark is inspired by LibereOffice.
A tooltip is added.
Coverity flags this code as not handling exception that may happen in buffer().
My own analysis is that this can never happen because isBufferValid()
does check whether buffer_ is null.
Any insght appreciated. The commit should be expeanded to more cases, actually.
The RenderButton object now has this property. It is set depending on
the value of inheritFont() method that is currently only set for
InsetRef, InsetBibtex and InsetCitation.
Fixes bug #10258
The special mode used by macros where the macro name is displayed as
grey text in a box is now one of the possible marker types for any
inset. The new code puts the macro name below the text, which means
that only the text below the current line will be moved. This makes
edition much more comfortable. The grey border around the contents has
been removed too.
The marker_type enum has been moved from Inset to InsetMath. A
markerMargin() function returns the horizontal margin required on each
side for the marker. Only the corner-type markers MARKER and MARKER2
need some.
A new BOX_MARKER enum value has been added and is taken care of in
afterMetricsMarkers (renamed from metricsMarkerVertical) and
drawMarkers.
The InsetMath::marker() macro now takes a BufferView pointer as
argument, so that the marker type can depend on editing state.
MathRow::metrics now makes changes to the MathRow object when needed.
The specific metrics/draw code in MathMacro has been removed and
replaced by assertions. Code in addToMathRow and marker is adapted to
reflect the cases where linearization is possible.
If an included file is not found, it seems impossible that the final
output would be correct. Before this commit, when exporting on the
command line, LyX would create the PDF and exit with a zero error
code so unless the user was monitoring the terminal output, they
would not know there is a problem.
This change is consistent with 1a374a93.
Now backspace and delete in text will select non-empty math and text insets
before deleting them. This is consistent with what happens in math already.
This is implemented for InsetText as well but can be disabled in case of
negative feedback.
This can be set for any sort of inset with the new virtual method
Inset::confirmDeletion.
New option "force" for the LFUN_*_DELETE_* commands, that bypasses the

File format change.
This allows for the relevant InsetCommand-based dialogs (such as
citation text before/after, Bibitem label, hyperlink name etc.)
to provide both the input of verbatim code or text that is transformed
to proper LaTeX code.
Some dialogs (Nomencl, Href) already had some methods (although they
could not be toggled), which are now centralized and streamlined.
The initial work of this patch has been done by Georg Baum (see

Fixes: #2751, #8227.
Whenever an argument delimiter is used inside the argument, the argument
needs to be grouped, that is
\cites({text (text) text})
or
\cite[{text [text] text}]
This fixes the original case reported in #2751 which is independent
from the general issue that the pre- and postnote field take literal
code.
These are biblatex-specific multicite commands that allow for multiple
pre- and postnotes, as in:
\cites(pre)(post)[pre1][post1]{key1}[pre2][post2]{key2}...
with an optional general pre- and postnote, which applies to the whole
list (like [][] in normal cite commands) and an optional pre- and

Fixes missing outliner names in various situations. Now if the warning "Missing
outliner name" appears in the console, this correctly hints at an actual issue
with the layout.
The goal of this patch is to be able to properly remove the space
needed for markers in the case of insets that are inside macros and do
not need these markers. This was attempted at 9a9a6a8, but did not
work reliably.
To this end, the following simplifications are made:
* instead of drawing its own markers, each inset has a virtual method
marker() which prescribes either NO_MARKER, MARKER (normal bottom
marker) or MARKER2 (top and bottom marker). All explicit calls to
(draw|metrics)Markers(|2) are removed.
* the space necessary for the markers is now counted in the
before/above margins in the row structure. Therefore painting will
not happen at (x + 1, y), but just (x,y).
* the methods drawDecoration are removed.
* the helper methods InsetMath::(draw|metrics)Markers(|2) are removed
and replaced by a new function drawMarkers in MathRow.cpp.
Now the marker type is kept in the MathRow::Element object (and set to
NO_MARKER in not editable context) and the marker is accounted for in
MathRow::(metrics|draw).
Moreover, the extra pixel for the marker is taken on the before/After
space if possible. The marker will only require extra space when
before/after is 0.
See comment 168 of #8883 to understand what issues are fixed.
When cloning InsetExternal, the tempname_ member of InsetExternalParams
has yet to be initialized. So, trying to remove it causes the warning
"QFile::remove: Empty or null file name".
inset.
If the reference is "sec:mysec", then this will output just "mysec".
This is what is needed, e.g., to use refstyle's range commands, e.g.,
\secrangeref{mysec1}{mysec2}
You *cannot* use:
\secrangeref{sec:mysec1}{sec:mysec2}
even if those are the actual labels.
Eventually, I'd like to add native support for this, but I'm a bit
frightened of trying to make the reference dialog support multiple
selections.
This entails a change of getAbbrAuthor to getAuthorList (the default is
still abbreviated with respect to MaxCiteItems, but the list can be, at
explicit request, shortened or full notwithstanding MaxCiteItems.
Next to the cmd name, introduce optional latex names (that might differ
from the cmd name) and aliases (that are "obsoleted by" the cmd).
This enhances portability between the engines.
For biblatex, we need the file name as it was entered in the inset
(abs path, rel path, only file name) in order to resolve it properly
for the export (as in the BibTeX inset intself).
Therefore, we now store a pair<docstring, FileName>.
A FileNamePairList has been added to FileNameList for this purpose.
Fixes: #8831
This introduces
* a new inset member isPartOfTextSequence() that returns
whether the inset produces something visible at the current position
in the text flow
* an isOpenPunctuation() test that returns whether a character is in the
'Punctuation, Open' unicode class. This is used instead of just checking
for two (Western, ASCII) opening brackets
It also fixes the isChar() and isLetter() value of InsetSpecialChar,
since some types have not been assigned correctly.
