If we are in rtl text, we *need* to check whether the first character is a
space. We can't use the rtl variable for this because this is only
computed on the last row.
This bug was introduced in [0a137e31/lyxgit] to fix the computation for
freespacing paragraphs. We better can just check whether the paragraph is
freespacing or not.
The signature of the character in cache should take into account the
change tracking baseColor (author) and mergeColor (added/deleted). If not,
we will mixup different cached pixmaps.
When an InsetText is deleted, all lines in the inset are painted as
deleted. This status should be restored afterwards. If not, insets will be
painted in the wrong color afterwards (e.g. tables).
I had already noticed the above mentioned thinko and this commit
should have been part of [3285ce1d5/lygit] but somehow I managed
to lose it in the git branches game: do a branch for that, than
try a different thing in another branch, then rebase to avoid
merge conficts, and finally delete all unneeded branches. Well it
is too much easy to do the wrong thing and pick the wrong branch,
deleting the right one. I will never follow the git way anymore
and will do I was used to do with svn.
I introduced this bug in r40091 where support for empty dates was added.
I also noticed that the title_layout_found flag was not properly passed down
to all variants of parse_text*. Since this is rather a global variable I
placed it into the preamble class.
The test case of bug #8104 shows other problems as well, but those are no
regressions and will be fixed separately.
OK for branch?
This is a patch from Scott Kostyshak. The problem it solves is as follows:
1. enable continuous spell check.
2. type a misspelled word and press space so that it has a wavy red underline.
3. right-click and choose a suggested replacement word.
4. press the backspace button.
Result: nothing happens. If you press the backspace button again, then it works as normal.
The selection code was added for the benefit of the spellchecker, but the code has been rewritten since then.
* Avoid undo step when using backspace in macro mode
* Use recordUndoInset when entering macro mode (if one enters something like \hline, the outer inset itself will be modified)
* Use recordUndoInset when pasting in an INsetMathGrid (same reason as above)
Both bugs above were due to a missing screen update. This patch
updates the current view after dispatching a lyxserver command
and thus solves both.
The patch is quite strightforward and the only difficulty was due
to the fact that the lyxserver needs the result of the dispatched
command. Now, GuiApplication::dispatch(FuncRequest const &) does
right this, but does not return the result, while
GuiApplication::dispatch(FuncRequest const &, DispatchResult &)
is called by the former but does not return the result. So, I
split the first one, isolating the code performing the update,
such that the second one can also update the current view when
the caller is the lyx server. When the action is initiated by
anything different from the lyx server, the behavior is unchanged.
It seems that parameterless macros are not wrapped into a MathAtom.
Rather than touching the macro code (which is tantamount to opening
a can of worms, IMHO), I prefer this solution.
If a converter specifies the needaux flag, latex (or xelatex) is
always run to produce the needed auxiliary files. This is wrong
because there are documents that can only be compiled with a specific
backend and thus the conversion may fail. On the other hand, even if
the document specifies the backend to be used, LyX ignores this info.
This commit rectifies this behavior by letting LyX run the same flavor
of the latex backend that shall be used for previewing the document
also for producing the auxiliary files.
The listings inset and include inset of type listings use two english terms
that are not localized yet: "Listing" for the caption and "Listings" for the
list of listings (not supported natively by LyX yet). The existing layout
translation mechanism has been extended to translate these terms as well:
1) Support [[stuff]] context in lib/layouttranslations
2) Support BabelPreamble and LangPreamble in InsetLayout
3) Use a InsetLayout for InsetInclude of type listings
4) Define BabelPreamble and LangPreamble in the layouts for InsetInclude
and InsetListings
LyX fails to read the bounding box from an EPS file if it has
negative values. Adjusting the regex will overcome this problem.
Negative values do not pose big problems later on, but the GUI
doesn't handle it correctly yet (see bug #5718).
It is broken since the latest file format update (neither did Uwe run a test
after updating the file format, nor did I after undoing my accidental change).
The reason it was broken: the bool version of write_attribute() is chosen
for "0" instead of the string version, so each table used rotate="true".
Math commands need it as well as text commands. At the same time, this
further unifies the checking for termination and fixes cases of wrong
output (e.g. for 0x2005).
If \hline is entered, do not create an unknown inset, but increase the number
of hlines of the current row if that is allowed. The same idea is applied to
copy-paste (not part of the bug report).
This is also a test for committing via git.
The crash was due to the otherwise innocent looking 07924ac300. The cast
Vincent replaced was already wrong---it seems to have been a thinko in
7bbd67eb2679---but it worked kind of by accident before. Now it crashes.
Setting up .gitignore or .git/info/excludes is something that should
be done. Not doing it makes it a lot harder to see actual new files
that should be added.

Multirows were introduced in 8bb69f24 (Uwe Stoehr, 11 Feb 2010). In the
computation of the nearest cell, it was forgotten to account for the
vertical offset. tabular.cellHeight is the full height of the cell, while
the point that comes from the coordCache is offsetted by VOffset.
Therefore, we have to subtract the VOffset from o.y_.
We only copied the error list to the cloned buffer when makeLatexfile
failed. This means that a second try will never clear the error list and
the user will be presented the same list again.
Therefore, we unconditionally copy the error list such that we also clear
the list on success.
These warnings have been (accidentally) commented out in
42aeab2a (uwestoehr; support for table cell rotations;
16-03-2012). In the next commit the warning will be replaced
by a form which is also understood by MSVC.

Currently only basic functionality (our math-tipa functionality plus multipar input). Further enhancements (such as proper unicode input and a specific toolbar) are planned. DocBook and XHTML output also need to be audited.
The lyx2lyx reversion routine surely can be improved (help appreciated), and I don't know tex2lyx enough to handle this file format change.

Add a new layout syntax CiteEngine to define the citation commands
available for a given citation engine.
Also extend the CiteFormat syntax to allow more customization. This
mechanism, previously used to produce bibliography entries in the
citation GUI based on the BibTeX entrytype, is now also used to
produce the textual labels for citation insets in the buffer view.
Thus citation styles are almost completely customizable by modules.
Modules for the basic, jurabib and natbib engines are implemented.
Layout format incremented to 37.

After the timeout elapses, the user is notified that a command is taking
a long time to complete and is given the choice to stop it. If the user
decides to let the command run, the timeout is increased, otherwise the
command is killed. One is prompted a first time after 3 mins, a second
time after 9 mins, a third time after 27 mins, and so on, i.e., the n-th
prompt occurs after 3^n minutes.

The small ascii art in InsetMathCancel::draw has line continuation characters at
eol, this make consecutive lines be andled as one. The use of a block comment
instead of single line comments makes this less of a "problem." Also it removes
a warning with gcc 4.7.

There are really two problems here. One is that the renamed
buffer needs to be reloaded. All kinds of files, etc, may not
exist any more, if we've been saved to a new directory; our
children e.g. may not be in the right place. And, in this case,
we may no longer be a child of our old parent. Reloading will
fix all of that.
On reload, though, we need to clear our parent, since we may
not have one any more. It will get reset if need be.

Gcc 4.7 warns that this kind of narrowing is illegal in C++11, so
we can just as well fix that right now.

LFUN_INSERT_PLAINTEXT is handled in GuiView because it might need to ask for a filename. But if the filename is given as a paramater we can handle it in BufferView immediately. Also, when we've asked for the filename in GuiView we should dispatch the LFUN to BufferView in order to properly use the Undo mechanism.

"from-dialog" is added to the LFUN_INSET_MODIFY function when it is issued from the table settings dialog. This is done to prevent the checking of the individual parameters, because it has to consider all parameters alltogether. Besides, when issued from the dialog it is already guaranteed that the parameters are valid.
This parameter should not be passed onto tabularfeatures.

We split Buffer::clone() into various routines that know whether
to clone the children.

the Buffer::changed() signal before we did updateBuffer(), and this
caused an inconsistency. The idea here is to defer issuing this signal
until we call processUpdateFlags(). We know we need a redraw if we've
deleted a whole paragraph.
This should work properly, so long as checkDepm is called from within
the dispatch mechanism. There may, however, be other paths, and I've
noted one explicitly with a FIXME in Text2.cpp. I've tested a few
different variations, however, and I haven't seen any problems. But if
we do run into problems, we can go ahead and do the update there that we
were previously doing in checkDepm itself.

The global list of cloned buffers was a bad idea. We don't have multiple
export threads, but we can have multiple autosave threads. So now we keep
more than one of these lists at the same time, and each cloned buffer has
a pointer to the relevant list. Note that this would make multiple export
possible, if we wanted to do that at some time.

All calls to doExport from outside of Buffer have the same algorithm to
determine whether the included children parameter should be true. Moreover,
this decision is only based on information from the Buffer itself.
Now, Buffer only has 1 public function doExport and preview.

- This preference was used for specifying the papersize to xdvi, dvipdfm,
dvips. However, I can't seem to see any effect on the result.
- The papersize should instead be defined in the document settings.
- The global papersize default was misused to also change the tex
output by specifying the papersize as if it was specified in the
document settings. This caused the same lyx document to be outputted
differently on different pcs.

The LyX buffer is cloned before autosaving, but the unnamed_ member was not
copied. This causes the autosave files to end up in the wrong location and
consequently they were never removed afterwards.

- Use InsetMathSpace instead of InsetMathSpecialChar for "\ " (bug # 7728)
- Use InsetMathSpace instead of InsetMathChar for ~ (bug # 7728).
This fixes also the display in LyX (previously a literal ~ was displayed).
Using InsetMathSpace enables also the "Insert Formatting" menu entries.
No file format change is needed, since the LaTeX export is unchanged.

utf8 strings, and not only if they contain encoding changes. This is
because if the output encoding was previously changed and an utf8
string is inserted in the stream, the encoding changes cannot occur.
This was not a problem until now because normal strings could not be
inserted in a odocstream, as them would have been exchanged with encoding
changes. Indeed, the SetEnc struct has only a std::string member and
outputting a std::string would be interpreted by the compiler the same
as inserting setEncoding(std::string). However, a std::string can be
inserted in an otexstream and it is better to account for this.
I wonder whether trying "os << std::string", where os is an odocstream,
should produce an error instead of actually trying to change the stream
output encoding, but this has not been a problem until now...

This restores \input@path handling, which turns out to be necessary, as
the TEXINPUTS mechanism is not used with relative paths. It turns out
that both methods must be used, because \input@path does not work in all
cases (most notably with tikz).

This reverts commit r39809. Some LFUNs require newline characters,
and while at the moment we don't have a proper interface for such
LFUNs, copy-pasting newlines has been a long-time workaround.

Now you can also require a|b|c, and if any of the features is already used,
no other one will be loaded. The first feature wins if none is already used.
This is required for a part of bug #7811.

List environments (as the one in the bug report) can't

A long standing bug has been fixed in GCC 4.7, the bug was a non-
sactioned extra lookup. This caused some code to work that really
shouldn't.
The fixes are: add this->, Class::, or move functions about
as required to fullfill the rules.
In this case some template instantiations
where move to after what they reference.

The init_package before easyParse is necessary to initiate the default
values for userdir and sysdir, which are now part of the help message.
This step would be necessary anyway if we ever internationalize tex2lyx.

Let's have this in trunk for testing. The real difference maker
when it comes to color is whether we use dvipng or ghostscript.
For dvipng:
- The color info is passed as command-line arguments.
- The tightpage option is not necessary, and since it adds
ps specials to the output, we shouldn't use it.
For ghostscript:
- The color info needs to be in the latex file.
- The foreground color is set for each preview inset.
- The background color is set by \pagecolor in the preamble,
which is understood by pdflatex, but ignored in dvips mode.
Thus dvips is handled with a ps special.
- The tightpage option is necessary to crop the images.

Caching the string value of extensions is not necessary. It
was a nice textbook exercise in getter/setter methods but it
is cause for confusion and prone to mistakes in maintenance.
Also, extension_list_ doesn't need to be mutable.

The patch fixes a case that I had forgotten. Namely, the case that when the height of a row was larger than the height of the screen and that the cursor is already visible. That's why I added a new if case to catch all situations in which the row height is larger than the height of the screen. If we then need scrolling we scroll to height/4 and 3*height/4. In the end, the height_/4 and 3*height_/4 should be replaced by the rowheights in the inset, but we need some extra infrastructure for that.

Add command-line arguments in a standard unix fashion, using getopt.
Usage: ./lyxpreview2bitmap.py <options> <input file>
Options:
-h, --help: Show this help screen and exit
--dpi=<res>: Resolution per inch (default: 128)
--png, --ppm: Select the output format (default: png)
--fg=<color>: Foreground color (default: black, ie '000000')
--bg=<color>: Background color (default: white, ie 'ffffff')
--latex=<exe>: Specify the executable for latex (default: latex)
The colors are hexadecimal strings, eg 'faf0e6'.
The changes to PreviewLoader.cpp break the preview of lilypond-book
and japanese files, but they will be handled in the next commits.

When a document is not multi-lingual the text contents is changed
to the new language. This should be recorded for Undo.
Because Undo wants a cursor the implemantation has to be
moved to the BufferView class.

- After introducing the displayed vertical alignment for tables, we met for the first time situations in which row.ascent is very large. To make sure the scrolling still works, we have to do the same as we did for rows with a large descent.
- change row.ascent into defaultRowHeight. Before the above mentioned change, row.ascent usually was approximately the same as defaultRowHeight (by chance). However, it is now clear we don't really want row.ascent here.

The PreviewLoader is created directly by Buffer on demand. The PreviewLoader cache was complex and unneeded because there is one and only one PreviewLoader per Buffer.

Added corresponding regression tests findadv-re-01 and -02 for finding these special characters.

A single '.' in the paths will get replaced with the current document dir
and also non-absolute paths will be prefixed with that dir.
The default semantics of TEXINPUTS apply, such that, for example, if a
path is terminated with a double slash, all subdirectories will be also
searched by both the TeX engine and ancillary programs such as dvi
previewers or dvips. As an example, if the prefix is set to ".:figs", the
TEXINPUTS variable will be set as ".:<docdir>:<docdir>/figs:$ORIGTEXINPUTS",
where <docdir> is the document directory.
The initial '.' is necessary to address the actual current dir (this will
be the temp dir at preview time), while if TEXINPUTS was initially unset,
such that $ORIGTEXINPUTS is empty, a colon (or semicolon on Windows) will
end the path list. This is very important, because we don't want to replace
the system directories but to complement them and, in order to do that, an
empty element has to be present in the list. Indeed, according to the
TEXINPUTS semantics, an empty element means the standard search path.
This works whether TEXINPUTS is originally set or not, because if the
original TEXINPUTS starts with a colon (meaning that the standard search
path is wanted there) we will have an empty element at that point,
otherwise the final colon will simply serve as a path separator.
Of course, on Windows a ';' has to be used as a path separator. LyX will
take care of transforming the platform path list into one understandable
by the TeX engine. For example, this will be the case for a Cygwin version
of LyX using a native Windows TeX engine or viceversa. I tested all of
this and it works for me.

We clear the refernce cache so that we won't get conflicts with labels
that get pasted into the buffer. We should update this before its being
empty matters. If not (i.e., if we encounter bugs), then this should
instead be:
cur.buffer().updateBuffer();
But we'll try the cheaper solution in trunk.

calls into the file writing routines and out of doExport(). They were in
both places before: Called once in doExport, and then again in the e.g.
writeLaTeXSource()---and then again, actually, in validate().
It is possible this will reveal some missing updateBuffer() calls
somewhere. But it should somewhat speed up View>Source, since we now do
not do an extra set of such calls in that routine. Rather, we rely upon
the Buffer's having been made up to date first, by the updateBuffer()
call after dispatch.

As the bug report notes, you do NOT get this crash if you move up or
down in the table a bit before you do the rest. The reason is that
moving up and down sets the cursor's x_target_, and it is because that
is not set that we enter the other code at all and eventually crash.
That is, in InsetTabular's dispatch, we have:
(*) cur.pos() = tm.x2pos(cur.pit(), pm.rows().size()-1, cur.targetX());
You can see the potential for trouble here already. cur.pit() is in the
NEW cell, i.e., the one to which we are moving; it was changed a few
lines previously, and cur.idx() points to the new cell, too. But we are
trying to calculate cur.pos(), which means that cur.pos() is currently
the one from the OLD cell. So the cursor is in an inconsistent state.
Calling cur.targetX() leads us to call Cursor::getPos(), and that is
what causes the crash.
We fix the problem by making sure we call targetX() on the original
cursor. The same problem clearly exists in the DOWN stuff, so we fix
that, too.
By the way, should we be setting x_target_ here once we have calculated
it?

If a class has already loaded hyperref (i.e., if \hypersetup is already defined),
immediately issue \hypersetup to prevent a LaTeX error (bug #7459).

the size of icons may be wrong when switching between sets with different
normal icon size. One needs to save the preferences, restart LyX and choose
"Normal-sized icons" from the toolbar menu to have the real normal size.
A minor glitch is that the name of the icon sets is translatable, but
currently only the translation for "Default" works. The problem is that I
don't know how to ask gettext for an inverse translation when saving the
preferences. Another possibility would be hardcoding the order of the names
in the combo box (such that to not rely on their names), but that is ugly
and prone to errors if/when other sets are added.

There are two possibilities to add an Inset to the CoordCache:
- 1), use CoordCache::add(Inset * p, int x, int y),
- 2), use CoordCache::add(Inset * p, Dimension dim).
In the latter case, the x and y are happily initialized as 0.
Also, when one call CoordCache::has(Inset * p), it will happily
return true because the cache knows something about this inset.
In #7261, LyX asked for the (x,y) position of an Inset and
received (0,0) as an answer, although that is not the position
of the Inset.
By adding some defaults for x,y in case of initializing with
dim only will give an extra check whether the cache really
"has" the position object.
In the long run, we might want to split the cache for
dimensions and positions.

Two things have been fixed here:
1) the selection should not be cleared when the user right clicks a math inset that is part of the selection,
2) the type of context menu should be determined at mouse-press, because that is the moment when the cursor is set. However, we should do it after setting the cursor, because setting the cursor might change the selection status and this influences the choice for the type of context menu.

Currently, if an inset outputs a newline, the new latex row is still
associated with a previous id/pos. Now, if a latex error occurs before
this newline, we would still highlight everything associated to that
id/pos, even if it is extraneous to the error.
This is avoided by associating the new latex row with the id/pos in
effect right before entering the inset. If an inset does not output
a newline, it is not excluded from the selection, consistent with the
fact that the text of the inset does appear in the error description.

last call of TexRow::start() before a newline is actually issued.
If the par.id() of an ert is the one associated to the exported line,
when an error occurs, that ert is always returned by Buffer::getParFromID()
(and thus would be highlighted) whether the error actually occurred there
or elsewhere in the same paragraph.
So, better highlighting the whole paragraph when the error seems to have
occurred in ert.

At document prefs there was undeleted first empty line.
This was due to the spacer which has no visibility property.
However, removing spacer breaks alignment in float dialog
so we need to set up stretch of combo box to full width.
I have no better idea.

I guess this deserves to be sorted out better, because we are doing tricky things by deleted the object from itself.
Problem:
PreviewImage? has a member PreviewLoader?. PreviewImage::Impl::statusChanged() calls PreviewLoader::remove. PreviewLoader::Impl::remove removes a snippet from the cache. In the cache is a map of the snippet and a shared pointer to PreviewImage?. This means that removing the snippet from the cache, destroys the PreviewImage?. When we get back to PreviewImage::Impl::statusChanged() this will start to crash.

This was a similar problem as for bug #5796 in r30807. There I made sure that the position that is used for the context menu is set at mousepress. That was because also the cursor was set at mousepress and we want to get the context menu at the place where the mousebutton was pressed, and not where the mousebutton was released.
However, in this case, the position of the context menu is stored on mousepress, but we don't take into account that the cursor might move afterwards due to the DEPM.
So, the solution is not to save the position of the mouseclick, but to save the name of the context menu we requested.
PS. Perhaps we could save the cursor position, but this seems to work too.

latex error occurs inside a table, the exact faulty table row is spotted.
However, if all cells of a table row are output on the same line, lyx is
not able to tell what cell caused the error and highlights the last cell
of the row. This patch allows to output each cell of a table on its own
line, such that the exact point where the error occurred can be highlighted.
Note that this is only done when exporting for preview, and in normal (nice)
exports everything goes as usual.

a special phrase, simply export the segment as normal text. For other
uses of these methods, end_pos is -1, so the original behavior is unaltered.
This allows for finding properly the LyX, LaTeX and other special phrases
with Advanced Find, when ignore format is off.
This complements the other changes made to latex export methods, for
exporting to latex with a given final end position.

If fontspec is not found, the "Use non-TeX fonts" checkbox is disabled, and the tooltip hints at installing the package.
Also add fontspec to LaTeXConfig.lyx, documenting that v2 of the package is needed for LuaTeX support.

The point of this is that the current tag is doing both of these jobs,
and they are different. The achemso class shows this, since it uses
float.sty to define three different kinds of floats internally. We have
to set NeedsFloatPkg to false to prevent LyX from trying to redefine
them, but then we complain that there is no list command defined and so
do not enter it in Insert>List/TOC.
The new tag is not yet functional, just there.

blank lines may be inadvertently output. This is achieved by using two
special iomanip-like variables (breakln and safebreakln) in the lyx::
namespace. When they are inserted in the stream, a newline is output
only if not already at the beginning of a line. The difference between
breakln and safebreakln is that, if needed, the former outputs '\n'
and the latter "%\n".
In future, the new class will also be used for counting the number of
newlines issued. Even if the infractrure for doing that is already in
place, the counting is essentially still done the old way.
There are still places in the code where the functionality of the
class could be used, most probably. ATM, it is used for InsetTabular,
InsetListings, InsetFloat, and InsetText.
The Comment and GreyedOut insets required a special treatment and a
new InsetLayout parameter (Display) has been introduced. The default
for Display is "true", meaning that the corresponding latex
environment is of "display" type, i.e., it stands on its own, whereas
"false" means that the contents appear inline with the text. The
latter is the case for both Comment and GreyedOut insets.
Mostly, the only visible effects on latex exports should be the
disappearing of some redundant % chars and the appearing/disappearing
of null {} latex groups after a comment or lyxgreyedout environments
(they are related to the presence or absence of a space immediately
after those environments), as well as the fact that math environments
are now started on their own lines.
As a last thing, only the latex code between \begin{document} and
\end{document} goes through the new class, the preamble being directly
output through odocstream, as usual.

If an optional argument can be followed by another one, we need to use
getFullOpt(). Otherwise it would not be possible to parse \foo[][bar].
Remove getOptContent to avoid confusion (it does exactly the same as

Make Graph more thread save by removing unneeded sharing of data between function calls:
1. Q_
When Q_ is used then it always has been cleared before usage in bfs_init
(if bfs_init returns false Q_ is not used).
Therefore we could make Q_ local to the functions.
2. vertices_[].path
.path is only used in getPath, and the pathes are always cleared before usage,
so the pathes could also be local.
The locks are not needed here any more. When there will be errors due to
race conditions, we could not solve them here. We have to lock at higher
places.

The reason we don't need to do what I say we don't need to do is that a
given counter doesn't really care about whether it has a master. It's
when the master is stepped that we check for which other ones to reset.

- Add missing babel synonyms (taken from a standard TeXLive 2010 install).
Some synonyms might still be missing (if they are defined not by babel
itself, but additional packages). Adding these is now simple: Only
known_languages and known_coded_languages need to be touched.
- Translate babel language name arguments of \foreignlanguage and
\selectlanguage to LyX names.
- Translate second argument of \foreignlanguage to LyX.
- Cleanup mixed language names in the preamble parser: Now all checks are
done with LyX names, not a mix of babel and LyX names. This sets correct
quotes even if the language as given as an alias.

misinterpreting "\}" as "}" when it occured inside a pair of unescaped
braces, like in "\code{@\{*\}r||p\{1in\}@\{*\}}".
The reason for this bug is that Token::character() behaves differently in
tex2lyx than in mathed. See the comment in Parser.h for a more general fix.
For now I played on the safe side and only changed those places where I
definitely know that the old code was wrong.

When a document with a InsetTOC was closed, the outline was closed. But this shouldn't happen because editedInset("toc") does never return something.
The reason that this happened was that if currentBufferView() is 0, we don't even care wehther inset was specified. If inset is specified, it should match the editedInset.

When applying the preference we need to save the full session information, because when this information is not yet saved, we will lose it forever. We can enter the preferences without a saved state when we start LyX with a modified default.ui.

In GuiApplication::readUIFile() the settings for views gets removed if the ui file is newer than the saved timestamp in the settings. Later the non existing settings will be used to initialize the visibility. The default value for a non existing setting is 0. The visibility_ variable does never get changed afterwards. And therefore
we will again write 0 to the registry.
We should have read the ui file instead when we can't find the registry value.

The problem is/was that when copying an InsetTableCell?, the macrocontext_position_ and the buffer_ were not copied. That's why in InsetTabular?@splitCell@521 and in InsetTabular::TeXRow() and in InsetTabular::metrics we manually copy this into the new object.
However, splitCell() returns the object by-value. So, when we call
InsetTableCell tail = splitCell(head, column_info[c].decimal_point, hassep);
the new object is copied into tail and we lose the buffer_ and macro_contextposition. Later we will crash.
What does *nix in this case ? Apparently they don't make buffer and/or macro_contextposition 0.

Now, there is the bug that autoallow is incorrectly set to true when visibility_ has the Visibility::SAMEROW flag. One shouldn't use >= on an enum (GuiToolbar::setVisibility), as newly added items will exhibit unexpected behaviour.

Improve heuristic for outputting \bibliographystyle: Now it is suppressed
if \bibliography follows immediately, since LyX adds it automatically in that
case.

We have to call cap::replaceSelection before determining whether we can insert an InsetQuote or a normal quote.
At least we should have updated the par variable after calling cap::replaceSelection, because the paragraph might have been deleted.

The reasons for doing this in tex2lyx instead of an external script are:
- Correct choice of latex/pdflatex export
- Using the correct LyX executable regardless of running inplace or from an
installation, or with or without version suffix

When creating the QFontMetrics object, we should specify a QPaintDevice. 0 is a paint device which is screen-compatible or pixmap-compatible. This makes sure that the correct DPI is used in font metrics calculations.

that also makes sure it doesn't do more work than it needs to do, by
limiting the size to 40 characters. Previously, InsetBranch::addToToc()
would have added a string representing the entire contents of the
branch! It's hard to imagine that having to recalculate that sort of
thing doesn't cause some problems with speed, especially in documents
with lots of notes and branches and such.

Using updateMacros() entails a performance hit when loading a document
with really a lot of macros. So, revert to the original strategy of
tracking macros at creation time. In order to also account for macros
defined in a child document, the child is now loaded by the include inset
at construction time instead of after the master has finished loading.
This strategy mimics what updateMacros() was accomplishing without
incurring in its drawbacks, such that loading time is practically
unchanged even with a thousand macros.

in front of a math macro has to be recognized. Since the math macros do

Previously LFUN_INSET_SETTINGS was misused to show the outliner. As a TOC doesn't have settings, it was no longer showed after a refactorization of LFUN_INSET_SETTINGS/LFUN_MOUSE_RELEASE because InsetToc::hasSettings() returns false.
As this is a special case, we should handle this special case in InsetTOC itself.
