272cb6b464 Add some notes on forward/reverse search with evince. 
Evince is a special case, since it provides f/r search not via command
line switches and pref settings, but via DBUS. On Linux at least, this
can be used by LyX via some external scripts. The possibility is now
mentioned here, the details (and the scripts) are provided on the wiki.

275bb44158 ctests: move issue with nomenclature insets to a dedicated test case. 
iconv fails, if a nomenclature inset contains an uncodable character
This led to failure of the indonesian UserGuide in the attic.
Fix it there and add a minimal, specific test sample instead.

b65c0bbf10 Remove a \textipa that snuck into es/UserGuide.lyx 
This empty inset caused problems with LuaTeX + system fonts (see
b863fb07). Although these problems seem to be resolved, this empty
inset is not supposed to be there.

bedebfc45a Support for multiple bibliographies setting "per child" 
This adds support for the chapterbib package, but also adds ways to
produce this sort of multibib with biblatex and bibtopic (which are
both incompatible with chapterbib).

68ab4023cc Support for "qualified citation lists" 
These are biblatex-specific multicite commands that allow for multiple
pre- and postnotes, as in:

\cites(pre)(post)[pre1][post1]{key1}[pre2][post2]{key2}...

with an optional general pre- and postnote, which applies to the whole
list (like [][] in normal cite commands) and an optional pre- and
postnotes for each item, so that pagination can actually be specified in
multi-cite references, as in:
(cf. Miller 2015, 2; furthermore Smith 2013, 23-23; Jenkins 2012, 103,
also refer to chapter 6 in this book)

See the biblatex manual, sec. 3.8.3., for details.

1eb43536da Add an "Automatic" bibliography processor pref option 
This is now set as default. It selects biber for Biblatex (with
fall-back to first bibtex8, then bibtex, if the former is not
installed), and bibtex for BibTeX-based engines.

With this, users do not normally need to care for the processor when
they switch cite engines.

a64a31c1e5 Additional.lyx: re-sync with branch 
I don't know what happened with the version in master because it contained outdated sections I already removed months ago in branch. I can also not see new inf that is special in LyX 2.3dev.

Therefore I re-sync hereby with the version in branch.

As I often request: please change the doc files in branch, only new features of LyX 2.3 are master-only because there is no reason not to update and improve the docs for every LyX release.

67094dd6e6 ctests: require up-to-date TeX Live for reliable 
The unreliable sublabel varying_versions is now defined to be about
versions other than TeX Live, because we require a full and
up-to-date TeX Live installation for reliable tests.

e9fcff1261 ctests: uninvert solved problems and make samples robust 
Specify non-TeX fonts that work in the source for documents that
fail with "missing characters" if compiling with "non-TeX fonts"=true.
(This does not interfere with the default output in any way.)

the sidecap bool is set to false to restore compilation.

This led to errors when compiling with polyglossia (and non-TeX fonts).
A minimal (currently non-compiling) test sample is kept in autotests/export/
and inverted in suspiciousTests.

60515b996b New LFUN lyx-activate to focus LyX window 
On Linux and Mac OS, this action brings the LyX window into focus.
Such behavior is not allowed by Windows OS so instead the color of
the taskbar entry is changed to indicate that the window has changed
in some way.

The action is hidden in the shortcuts menu because it would make
sense to assign a shortcut to it. The only way to execute shortcut
would be if the LyX window is already activated.

lyx-activate will be used (see next commit) to allow the PDF viewer
to switch to LyX after executing a reverse search.

3826ff6434 Improve documentation of LFUN_BUFFER_ZOOM_{IN,OUT} 
The default for ZOOM_OUT is -20 from a user perspective. That is,
the following are equivalent:

  buffer-zoom-out -20
  buffer-zoom-out

The reason for this is that the argument to ZOOM_OUT is treated the
exact same way as ZOOM_IN. The only way they differ is how the
default case is handled.

This commit also clarifies that (1) the argument may be positive or
negative and that (2) the argument is interpreted as percentage
points, not percent.

2b6f822bad Add CMake flag for keytests and disable by default 
The keytests were previously enabled by default if the necessary
dependencies were found. They require a GUI and mouse so can
sometimes be annoying. Further, they are not currently reliable.
They are thus now disabled by default.

3420910d7b Remove asciiimage and asciixfig formats 
The external templates requested conversion to these formats, but there was no
converter defined, so plain text export did fail, and there are no obvious ways
to create plain text representations for the files used by these templates.
Now we output the file name as for other templates and also the graphics inset.
This fixes bug #7135.

3f93355488 Change \it to \mathit in Math.lyx 
On TeX Live 2016, Math.lyx gives an error when compiling with
pdflatex. On TeX Live 2015, Math.lyx compiles but the log gives the
following warning:

  Usage of deprecated font command `\it'!

d66d6f7805 Remove external date inset 
The external date inset was implemented as a demonstrator for external insets
in general. It was never intended for production code. Now that we have several
external insets defined we do not need the demonstrator anymore. This fixes
bugs #4398 and #9948.
